"I built this because I lived it."
My mother, Patricia, moved in with my sister a few years ago. On paper, it looked like everything had fallen into place: a warm home, family nearby, good care. But most days, the house was quiet from morning until night. She was surrounded, and still alone.
That's when I understood the problem was never care. It was connection.She didn't need more looking after. She needed a voice to greet her mornings, company to fill the silence, a reason to wake up curious about the day ahead.
That is when I started thinking: what if someone just called her? Not an app she had to learn, not a device to set up - just a voice, on her own phone, that remembered her name, her stories, and what she cared about.
That became Sally. That became Lonesome No More
